In October, we released Ms. Adeline, a short film from Corner Store about Ms. Adeline Wigfall-Jones, who has been cutting hair at 1131 West Washington Street in South Bend since 1976.
While filming, we shot behind the scenes photographs on an old film camera, and a few days later, Ms. Adeline asked us to come back so that she could share an old photo album spanning over half a century of her life.
Today, we’re pleased to share a selection of these photographs, and for West.SB members, 28 Minutes with Ms. Adeline, an extended interview with a wealth of memories and wisdom, as well as some of the film's most memorable quotes. It, like her, is a gem.
