A New Photo Book on South Bend

At long last, my first photo book, “Life in South Bend,” is available for preorder today. I can’t believe it.

We grow up in our own time. I was young when I moved back to South Bend. There were many things I didn’t know about myself or my new, old home. My camera became a teacher and a guide — the primary way I experienced the city and found myself in it.

This book is a collection of eighty-one photographs, made from January 2016 to November 2022, each representing a moment of due attention paid to my city and myself. Together, they are my photographic offering to the place where I found a life.
