Last week I was offered the opportunity to follow a trash crew through a few alleys on the West Side. The crew, consisting of Terrance, Frank and Dave, paused for a thirty second introduction and quickly returned to work. For the next 20 minutes I ran after the truck capturing still and moving moments. What I witnessed is recorded below.
“Ten hour shifts starting at Six AM.”
“This is an elite crew.”
