Ms. Adeline Screening at Vested Interest

On Sunday, August 22nd, we hosted a screening of Corner Store’s first short film Ms. Adeline.

Ms. Adeline tells the story of a typical Saturday at Ms. Adeline Wigfall-Jones’ barbershop on West Washington Street in South Bend, which she has owned and operated since 1976. She is 92 years old.

The evening began with a welcome by First Lady of South Bend Kellye Mitros and members of Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Ethan Marosz spun vinyl, and Bruno’s provided free pizza for all. It was a time.
